An apology.

The purpose of this update was that I wanted to extend an apology - not for my actions, but for my behavior. I apologize for any hurt you have received because of my callous, arrogant, or downright mean behavior. I know that accepting the loss of a fic and many reviews is difficult for most, so how I acted must have amplified the hurt.

Meanwhile. If you lost your fic and 'everything you lived for,' don't whine. You have access to the internet, which in itself is something many people take for granted. Got problems? Find a community on LJ where you can post all your woes and get sympathy. Find a character you identify with and vent through him or her - in third or first person view. No guarantees on positive replies, but it's a start. Start writing real stuff and discover talent.

Wondering why I decided to have this random apology? Just a spontaneous act, I suppose, spurned on by the fact that it's World Kindness Week. :D

On the other hand, my activities have slowed to almost a halt because I'm occupied with school and, as you can see from the previous post, fanfics of my own.

So. Yes. I'll work on the behavior and keep it to minimal arrogance, and only indifference when needed. Hopefully you'll understand.

People worked so hard on them, and what our 'peers' told us is that ff.net lets us unleash our imaginations and free our souls, I believe that is being very hypocritical in their words. By now, I don't care if I get booted off this site for saying this: People work hard on their stories, and no one, not even the people who run this site, should be deleting people's dreams, hopes, ideas, and beautiful works of art created by words, just because they contain material that our 'peers' see to be inappropriate! I'm pretty damn sure I've had a hand in creating this rule.

July 27th -- FanFiction.Net Content Guidelines have been updated to reduce the apparent confusion of two rules:

Chat and script format are the same. We have not allowed chat/script format for years.
Choose your adventure and second person/you based are interactive entries. We do not accept interactive stories.

Drinks all around! Anyways, I figured that since I added this to my memories as a 'Rules' entry, I might as well list all the rules with some examples. Please note that I'm just randomly coming up with examples. When I ask to e-mail me your stuff, DON'T, unless I make a note of it.

1. Non-stories: lists, bloopers, polls, previews, challenges, author notes, and etc.

Etc.	Essays. Rants. Please e-mail or contact me (this time for real) if you have anything to add to the list. I don't believe people need explanations for those.

2. One or two liners.

3. MST: comments inserted in between the flow of a copied story.

W: Luckily for you, the word 'copied' is a major issue in this sentence - if it weren't there, I would be reporting all of your fics that had Author's Notes randomly stuck in throughout the story.

4. Stories with non-historical and non-fictional characters: actors, musicians, and etc.

5. Any form of interactive entry: choose your adventure, second person/you based, Q&As, and etc.

W: If the review board is used to post questions for Q&A, post characters to insert into the story, etc, your fic is AUTOMATICALLY interactive. To remove said reviews if they're unwanted, for anonymous ones, click on the 'Anonymous' and copy the ID, then login and go to the 'Remove Review' page and type in the ID. If it's signed, you must remove the chapter and repost it. If there's many reviews for that chapter, better back 'em up, sorry.

I do not know where I shall publish but for now I probably will remove everything. I can't stand a place where there are so many regulations.
